Dear Friends:

Homeownership engenders its own brand of spring fever this time of year, doesn’t it? Spring often brings around the desire to clean, purge, redecorate and otherwise change things. I welcome it!

At my house, we’ve been leaning right into that desire for change in a big way. First, we just purchased this sofa. We’d been looking for something large and comfortable for our whole family to pile onto together, yet something that wouldn’t overwhelm the odd, very square space that is our living-slash-family room.

This one did it! We are in love. In fact, on delivery day, (and in lieu of a nutritious dinner) we all piled onto the new couch for four varieties of popcorn and a family viewing of Our Planet. Needless to say, our five-year-old was thrilled.

Things may be shaping up, but one tenet remains constant: We’ll never stop improving or changing our home. There will always be new ideas, new maintenance issues, new inspirations and new questions. This week at Purplebricks, we're tackling some of the most interesting ones we could anticipate, in no particular order.
